A brother and sister with cystic fibrosis have both lost their battle to the disease within days of one another.
John and Marie Wright, 23, were diagnosed with the disease when they shortly after being born.
Their mother Margaret Wright, 53, said that as soon as Marie died, she knew John ‘wouldn’t be far away’.
She said: ‘They were both great characters.
‘Both of them had a great sense of humour but I knew that when Marie passed away that John wouldn’t be far away – they were always very close.’
