I don’t like Mondays (80% of the time) part 2

“Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.” will smith

‘We could’ve been anything
That we wanted to be
Yes, that decision was ours
It’s been decided we’re weaker divided
Let friendship double up our powers
We could’ve been anything
That we wanted to be
And I’m not saying that we should
But if we try it, we’d learn to abide it
We could be the best at bein’ good guys’

Very good song

“It is a truth universally acknowledged that when one part of your life starts going okay, another falls spectacularly to pieces.”
― Helen Fielding, Bridget Jones’s Diary

Rules for Living by Olivia Joules
1. Never panic. Stop, breathe, think.
2. No one is thinking about you. They’re thinking about themselves, just like you.
3. Never change haircut or color before an important event.
4. Nothing is either as bad or good as it seems.
5. Do as you would be done by, e.g. thou shalt not kill.
6. It is better to buy one expensive thing that you really like than several cheap ones that you only quite like.
7. Hardly anything matters: if you get upset, ask yourself, “Does it really matter?”
8. The key to success lies in how you pick yourself up from failure.
9. Be honest and kind.
10. Only buy clothes that make you feel like doing a small dance.
11. Trust your instincts, not your overactive imagination.
12. When overwhelmed by disaster, check if it’s really a disaster by doing the following: (a) think, “Oh, fuck it,” (b) look on the bright side, and if that doesn’t work, look on the funny side. If neither of the above works then maybe it is a disaster so turn to items 1 and 4.
13. Don’t expect the world to be safe or life to be fair.”
― Helen Fielding, Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination

“When someone leaves you, apart from missing them, apart from the fact that the whole little world you’ve created together collapses, and that everything you see or do reminds you of them, the worst is the thought that they tried you out and, in the end, the whole sum of parts adds up to you got stamped REJECT by the one you love. How can you not be left with the personal confidence of a passed over British Rail sandwich?”
― Helen Fielding, Bridget Jones’s Diary

*Digital photography is making us lazy photographers.

*Get it right the first time and there won’t be so much work later

*I can’t function on a morning without coffee and that’s bad 😦

*Your day may be completely rubbish, you may have tripped up the stairs, forgotten the stuff for cake mix, have beef gravy to go with chicken and feel like everything is an epic fail, but in the end if you have someone to share it with it doesn’t seem that bad.

*Bookclub saved me last night along with the company of my little Sister.

*Don;t try to make things perfect. It doesn’t need to be. What my Sister told me yesterday.

*I miss my family. My Mum, Sister and I have grown so close in the last few years.

*I love everything pink or blue and covered in spots.

*I am obsessed with Colin Firth, penguins chocolate and orange scones, starfish, bookclub, cake, everything dotty…….

*Everybody wants something but some are not willing to give the same amount of effort back.

* I just want to feel complete and happy.

*Oh and I think Anne Frank would have had better taste then Mr Beible

*I can’t sing for toffee

*Butterflies is one of the funniest programmes
